Pete Yates is the owner and head coach of Teknique Wrestling. Coach Yates is a Georgia native that brings a host of top level competition and coaching to the Tek Staff. A 3X Georgia State Champion and 2X NCAA All American puts Yates in an elite category in Georgia wrestling history. His deep understanding and passion of high level Teknique and his ability to guide and mentor young athletes to reach their goals is second to none.

A standout at Virginia Tech, Pete Yates was a 2x NCAA All-American and a multiple time ACC Champion.

Tyler Askey is the Youth Director & Assistant Coach at Teknique Wrestling. Tyler is one of the most decorated high school wrestlers in Georgia History. Coach Askey knows what it takes to win at all stages and levels of wrestling. As Youth Director, he aims to pass on his knowledge to the future leaders of our sport.

Daniel Bullard is the Head Assistant Coach at Tek Wrestling. Daniel wrestled at Archer HS and helped lead the GA school to earn National Ranking and recognition. Daniel was one of Coach Yates's first students at the Wrestling Academy under Dustin Kawa. Daniel is a natural fit at Tek wrestling and his knowledge of how to transition from being a successful High school wrestler to having success at the collegiate level is proven. It is a blessing to have him share and pass down his knowledge and experience to our athletes iin our program.

Chris Maclafferty is the Youth Director & Assistant Coach at Teknique Wrestling. Chris has over 9 years of coaching experience at the youth, middle and Highschool level. Coach Maclafferty has played a key role in the development of many individuals and programs over the last few years. His knowledge and passion for the sport of wrestling are crucial attributes to the Tek Staff.

Chris dIAZ is the Head Assistant Coach at Teknique Wrestling for the advanced regular practice. Diaz was a top ranked National HS wrestler at Archer HS. He has been around Coach Yates during his competition days and the their coaching chemistry is on point. Diaz brings a high level of energy and intensity to our advanced practices. Diaz's ability to wrestle Live and hard drill with kids weighing 120-200lbs is a invaluable asset to our program

Brent Danielson is the Head Youth Director and manager at Teknique Wrestling. Brent has over 20 years experience in working with kids ranging from 4-18 years old. Helping develop skills in wrestling and life.
Coach Danielson is married to his wife Melissa and they have two lovely children. They have a daughter named Ellie and a son named Hudson who competes for Teknique wrestling.​
